Using Daylog

By creating an account or using Daylog, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. You must be legally able to enter this agreement in your location and provide accurate account information.

You are responsible for activity under your account and for protecting your password, email account, active sessions, OAuth grants, and personal access tokens.

Your content

You retain ownership of the tasks, notes, tags, and other content you submit. You give Daylog a limited permission to host, process, transmit, and display that content only as needed to operate features you request.

You are responsible for ensuring your content and use of the service do not violate law or another person’s rights.

Acceptable use

• Do not attempt to access another user’s account or data.
• Do not probe, bypass, disrupt, overload, scrape, or reverse engineer security controls or service infrastructure except where applicable law expressly permits it.
• Do not use Daylog to distribute malware, unlawful material, abuse, harassment, or content that infringes another person’s rights.
• Do not share a personal access token publicly or place it in source control.

AI and MCP actions

AI-generated classifications, dates, titles, and tags may be wrong. Review proposed entries and important actions. Daylog is not a substitute for professional, medical, legal, financial, or emergency advice.

MCP clients can read and modify your log within the tools and credentials you enable. You are responsible for reviewing tool approvals and requests made through connected clients. Revoke credentials you no longer use.

Availability and changes

Daylog may change, suspend, rate-limit, or discontinue features. The service may be unavailable because of maintenance, provider outages, free-tier limits, or events outside reasonable control. Important information should also be exported or backed up by you.

Termination

You may stop using Daylog at any time and may request account deletion. Access may be suspended or terminated for misuse, security risk, legal requirements, or material violation of these Terms. Data handling after termination follows the Data Retention Policy.

Disclaimers and liability

To the extent allowed by law, Daylog is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose, or error-free AI output. Daylog is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-data damages to the extent such limitations are permitted by law.
